Surrey Sculpture Park

The Surrey Sculpture Park is the most atmospheric sculpture exhibition in Surrey with over 300 international artists showing their work.

It is set over two miles of paths through woodland enhanced by three lakes in an area of outstanding natural beauty nestled in the Surrey Hills and what’s more the sculptures are for sale.

On arrival we were given a map detailing the trail with a numbered list of each piece with the artists’ name and of course, a price.  The area is split into four sections and takes two to four hours to get round.

One of the sculptures I loved was a life size creation of rutting stags made out of driftwood. Absolutely stunning but a little out of my price bracket at £75,000.

Last month in my blog I wrote about the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, well known for its Henry Moore exhibits but for me this Surrey park is much better.

The Sculpture Park is a unique photoshoot location for me, it was fab.  Put this place on your wish list to visit and you will have a great day out.

A totally brilliant place to go to.
